I got into running about 10 years ago because I got into street cycling and when winter hit I wanted to continue being active. I started running around the block a few times and now I’m training for the Baltimore Half-marathon in October.

What would you say to person who states that she or he hates to run?
So do I.

What advice would you give to a person who is thinking about starting to run?
Start slow and don’t push yourself to far. Set reasonable goals in terms of distance. Speed and endurance come with time.

What do you love about running?
Stress management and weight control.
